Snow peas
Recipe: Snow Peas and Mushrooms
Ingredients:
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1 tablespoon sesame oil
200g snow peas
150g fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
Method:
In a medium fry pan over medium heat, cook the almonds about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until lightly browned. Remove from heat, and set aside. Heat oil in the fry pan over medium high heat. Stir in snow peas and mushrooms, and cook 3 to 4 minutes, until tender. Transfer snow peas and mushrooms to a medium bowl. Toss with almonds and teriyaki sauce, and serve warm as a side dish or salad on it’s own.
