Recipe: Strawberry Surprise Salad
Ingredients:
Mustard and Wasabi Lettuce can be added to any salad to give a surprise taste sensation!
One of my favourite combinations is...
Salad:
Mix of assorted lettuce leaves including mustard and wasabi lettuce
Fresh Strawberries
Blue vein cheese
Pecan nuts
Prosciutto
Dressing:
2 Tabsp Balsamic Vinegar
2 Tabspn Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Freshly ground salt (optional)
Freshly ground pepper
Method:
Slice prosciutto into thin strips and fry until crisp. Roughly chop strawberries and nuts to desired size. Mix all salad ingredients in a bowl. Mix dressing ingredients together and sprinkle over salad - gently toss salad.
