Grown At Home - Photo Competition

By entering the ‘Grown at Home’ photo competition online, the competition entrant:

1. agrees to the administrators of the Urban Food website displaying the entrant’s photo, recipe and town of residence on the website’s photo competition page;
2. agrees that they will not receive any payment, royalty or other consideration from the administrators of the website from using their photo as specified in clause 1;
3. agrees to the administrators of the website storing the entrant’s entry details for the purpose of drawing winners of the competition and for emailing Urban Food newsletter updates (note: the entrant will have the option to unsubscribe from newsletter updates);
4. agrees to, should they be a prize winner, their photo being used in promotional activities, such as print media, in relation to promotion of the Urban Food project;
5. confirms that the submitted photo is original work and not under copyright;
6. agrees not to submit photos of persons other than themselves – except where they are the guardian of the person in the photo;
7. understands that only eligible entries go into the draw to win prizes; an eligible entry is one that:
(a) submits a photo of the entrant with a culinary herb, fruit or vegetable plant in their garden at their official place of residence. Their place of residence must be located in the Sunshine Coast Regional Shire;
(b) submits a recipe which includes the culinary herb, fruit or vegetable plant in the photo as an ingredient. The recipe should be in the spirit of promoting good health (recipe's may be modified / edited at the administrator's discretion) and;
(c) conforms with clauses five, six and eight;
8. confirms that they are 18 years of age or over (note: a person under the age of 18 can still enter the competition but requires a parent or guardian to complete the Parent/Guardian section in the entry form)
9. acknowledges that they are entering the competition of their own free will;
10. understands that the judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into;
11. understands only one entry per person will be accepted (a guardian of an entrant under the age of 18 can assist their dependant/s to enter and also enter themself); and
12. understands that by filing in the online entry form and clicking the ‘submit entry’ button they have entered the competition and understand and agree to the above clauses.

Prize draw method.

All eligible entries go into the draw. Entries will be drawn at noon on Wednesday  September 1, 2010. A Justice of the Peace will draw twenty three names from the box in the presence of two other witnesses. The first name drawn wins the first prize, the second name the second prize and the third name the third prize. The next twenty names win a DVD/book and seed pack prize.

Winners will be notified by email by close of business on Thursday September 2, 2010.
