Kabi Golf is the only certified organic golf course in Australia. The entire property is maintained organically without the use of any synthetic fertilisers, pesticides and or any other chemicals that are traditional ones used on golf courses and orchards.
There are 1000 fruit trees of various types on the property and the produce is sold locally and through the organic markets. Adding to the self -sustaining ability of the property there is 100 acres of cow pasture where there is around 50 head of cattle which ensures that beef on the club house menu is as local as possible.
All food waste from the kitchens as well as grass clippings from greens gets composted in worm farms which produces a liquid soil conditioner for use on the golf course. Kabi Golf are also one of the twelve partners of the State Government's ecoBiz program.

A number of partnerships have been formed in the local area including:
Kabi-crop

BISTRO C - a parntership with the Edible Schools program; all veggie prep gets collected three times a week for composting
Eumundi Markets - comercial worm farms
Peregian Surf Club

Noosa and Maroochydore Libraries - Composting green food waste by using bokashi bins
Hyatt Coolum - food waste going to hotels own worm farm.
