Permaculture design principles can help you to make good decisions from the outset, whether it be about best composting methods for your situation, water collection and usage, energy generation, introducing animals to your home system – such as chooks, worm farms, guinea pigs etc, location of fruit trees and garden beds… etc, etc.

The Sunshine Coast region is fortunate to have a number of experienced Permaculture teachers as well as local networks, such as Permaculture Noosa,…. and ……… . These groups meet regularly to share ideas, inspiration and to enjoy a social catch up.

Getting involved

There are a number of ways to learn more about Permaculture and how it applies to your unique situation. You can:

• Join a local Permaculture group;
• Attend a Permaculture training course or workshop;
• Research your local library and the internet for more on the topic;
• Or you may wish to call in an expert and hire a Permaculture Consultant to advise on major changes to your property or business.
